Halfway through the burn, the scent hasn’t faded one bit—still just as strong and subtle as when I lit it. The wax melts evenly, which is great since uneven burns ruin candles for me. This one’s a keeper for long winter nights.

The scent holds steady from the first light to the last flicker, which is rare for a candle in my experience. Even halfway through, the room still smelled like fresh hinoki without any burnt or waxy undertone.

The wick burns so cleanly that the scent stays consistent from the first lighting to the very last melt, which I've never quite gotten from cheaper candles. I've had it burning for hours each evening and the hinoki note never thins out or turns bitter, just stays that same calm, woody presence.
